Rouzbeh Rashidi has been making films since 2000 when he founded the Experimental Film Society in Tehran. Since then, he has worked completely apart from any mainstream conceptions of filmmaking.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EExperimental Film Society\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EExperimental Film Society is an independent, not-for-profit entity specialising in experimental, independent and no\/low budget filmmaking. It was founded in 2000 in Tehran, Iran. Its aim is to produce and promote films by its members. Experimental Film Society unites works by a dozen filmmakers scattered across the globe, whose films are distinguished by an uncompromising, no-budget devotion to personal, experimental cinema. Remodernist film developed in the United States and the United Kingdom in the early 21st century with ideas related to those of the international art movement Stuckism and its manifesto, Remodernism. On August 27, 2008, Jesse Richards published a 15 point Remodernist Film Manifesto, calling for a \u0027new spirituality in cinema\u0027, use of intuition in filmmaking, as well as describing the remodernist film as being a \u0027stripped down, minimal, lyrical, punk kind of filmmaking\u0027.
