Join us for a talk by artist-filmmaker Christopher J. Harris on July 26th @ 6pm! Journeying through his eclectic Black cinema influences (Edward Owens, Mike Henderson, Ulysses Jenkins, Betye Saar and more), Chris will explore his personal and evolving relationship to the aesthetics of the Black analogue image. The talk will be followed by a discussion with not/nowhere workers.

A night of experimental video work that appropriate or draw inspiration from the soap opera format, interspersed with segments from a new, locally produced reworking of a Joanne Kyger radio play. Guest programmed by Sean Dickerson & co-presented by PRROBLEM Press @prroblem.press

A multi-media, multi-sensory plunge into the virtual mucilage as they take over FACETS for a night of video, installation, performance, and goo. The event will have two versions of the screening of Cyberslime — one that will be followed by a filmmaker Q&A or one that will immerse you in the scent of Cyberslime’s official fragrance, cero by agar olfactory. The event will include a live set by WNTSAD and immersive installations by Video Waste.
