2026 SEFF BINGHAMTON: Student Experimental Film Festival in Binghamton

The Student Experimental Film Festival in Binghamton, also known as SEFF Binghamton, is an annual film festival featuring experimental films made by student filmmakers from across the United States. Held in Binghamton, NY, the festival is organized and run by students at Binghamton University enrolled in the Curating Film & Video course offered by the Cinema department. Running since 2010, SEFF is one of several projects that Binghamton University's Cinema department organizes to celebrate its experimental roots. This year's festival will be held at the Bundy Museum, 129 Main Street. Binghamton, NY 13905.
The theme this year is Coexistence.

The Cinema department was founded by Ken Jacobs and Larry Gottheim in 1969 and has been made up of many notable filmmakers and scholars over the years, such as Steve Anker, Stephanie Barber, Alan Berliner, Ariana Gerstein, Mark LaPore, Mark McElhatten, Nicholas Ray, Renée Shafransky, Phil Solomon, Art Spiegelman, Tomonari Nishikawa, Phil Weisman, and Adam Zucker.
