DIAMETRALE is the first International Film Festival in Austria, which sets the focus exclusively on experimental films. The selected movies break with conventional rules of film making and aesthetic norms. Particularly, we are interested in absurd, surreal, humouristic, grotesque, dadaistic experimental movies.

Leokino Innsbruck (big screen, up to 100/200 seats)

› SHORT FILM COMPETITION: JURY AWARD — EUR 1.500
sponsored by Cultural Department of Land Tirol and THE GOLDEN FRAME (it contains an original signed drawing/comic by an artist).

› SHORT FILM COMPETITION: AUDIENCE AWARD — EUR 500
sponsored by Cultural Department of Stadt Innsbruck and a special award sponsored by Nonseum Museum

If our budget will allow it, selected film makers will get invited to the festival. We'll support film makers with traveling costs and accommodation.
