The Festival works as a venue to meet artists in this region and beyond, exchanging and sharing ideas, while developing mutual relationship.

    Submissions now open for the the 7th edition of 'Underneath the Floorboards'.

    A space that shows the best in video art, media art, digital art, experimental film, animation and documentary.

    For our next event hopefully everything will have gone back to 'normal,' and we can go back to having a live event. But we are prepared for another online event,  like last time which got over ten thousands viewers. If everything is back to 'normal 'we will also do a live event in Hackney, London.

    The Marienbad Film Festival calls for submissions of experimental and independent films, audio visual essays or moving image works.
    Selected projects will be presented in a non-competitive Forum Marienbad section. This section aims primarily at increasing the awareness of marginal forms of cinema and presenting contemporary moving image projects and works, both completed and in progress, from all over the world. No less important aim of this section is to create a space for discussion with authors, situation permitting.
