ABBFF Byeongyeong Film Festival is an annual outdoor film festival held at Jeolla Byeongyeongseong in Gangjin, South Korea. Set in the peaceful countryside of Byeongyeong, the festival offers a unique experience where films can be enjoyed against the backdrop of pastoral landscapes. It is particularly distinguished by its focus on unconventional and experimental films.
The 1st edition of ABBFF Byeongyeong Film Festival will feature 16 filmmakers, including Jean-Marie Straub & Danièle Huillet, Jerome Hiler, and Rose Lowder. Over two days, a total of 21 films from 8 countries will be screened under the expansive skies of Byeongyeong, harmonizing with the timeless scenery of Byeongyeongseong.
