@circulo_roto is a quarterly film night highlighting works by independent makers. For their fourth edition, they present a program of short films that experiment with an analogy between film and writing.
'All I have to offer is myself' comes from a quote by visionary filmmaker Chris Marker, who explains "contrary to what people say, the use of the first person in films tends to be a sign of humility: all I have to offer is myself" (1999). This program examines the use of the first person in cinema, particularly in diary and essay films, where the author becomes visible and their writing becomes an integral part of the material experimentation.
