After seven editions in London, Altered Images arrives in Madrid for the first time, taking over Casabanchel with a programme bringing together experimental film, live audiovisual performance, electronic music, expanded cinema and sound experimentation.

London-based Portuguese audiovisual duo working across modular synthesis, voice, light and moving image, combining industrial textures, noise, fractured electronics and operatic vocals.

COLLAPSE by TELEPHASYCX! (@telephasycx)
A generative audiovisual performance by María Gamboa and Vicente Martín, where stochastic processes, experimental electronics and moving images interact in real time.

LUCÍA SELVA — THIS IS AN AUTOPSY (@luciaselva____)
Granada-born filmmaker Lucía Selva presents an experimental short filmed entirely with thermal cameras, exploring unconscious bodies, dissociation and the boundaries between body and mind.

CHICKLETTES DJs (@chicklettsdjs)
London-based vinyl DJ duo and long-time festival collaborators, exploring different musical eras and genres through carefully curated analogue selections.

DISAINER — DJ (@disainer.dj)
Madrid-based DJ exploring different territories of electronic music, from darker and more experimental sounds to club-oriented rhythms.

JADE BALDÓ (@jbaldooo)
Multidisciplinary artist and performer returning to the festival after taking part in previous Altered Images editions in London.

The programme will also include a curated selection of some of the best experimental short films presented at recent editions of Altered Images.
