Guadalupe Arellanes is a visual artist, performer, filmmaker, and scholar based in Los Angeles, California. Her work investigates the poetics of place and the lingering textures of hauntings using surrealist techniques, nonlinear temporalities, repetitive motifs, and dream logic.

Human Resources was founded in 2010 by a team of creative individuals who seek to broaden engagement with contemporary and conceptual art, with an emphasis on performative and underexposed modes of expression.

This summer Human Resources transforms back into its origin as a movie theater including proper sound, acoustic treatments, carpet, comfortable seating, snacks and amenities to showcase the archival facet of performance and video art.
