Experimental filmmaker and artist Eric Leiser presents a solo exhibition bringing together holographic sculptures, and animated short films in Montreux. Two projectors activate the space: one screening the LAND series - fluid landscape animations shaped by place, movement, and imaginative transformation - while the other unfolds a stream of cinematic visions where fantasy, archive, and shifting light converge.

Leiser’s holograms hover like thought-landscapes, fragments of terrain lifted into fragile, pulsing forms. In dialogue with the films, they extend into moving images, as if each sculpture were dreaming on screen. The exhibition becomes a hybrid environment - part laboratory, part cinema, part reverie - inviting viewers to slow down and experience landscape as a living, evolving field of light.

Set between lake and mountains, LAND reads as a speculative map: an archive of textures, rhythms, and movements translated into luminous perception.

Leiser’s work has been discussed in several academic and experimental animation publications, especially in relation to landscape animation and mixed-media practices. His LAND series is often described as a demanding time-based animation technique, requiring intense physical and mental engagement.
