Eyes don’t always want to close!
A film collective that pushes the boundaries of cinema: Los Ingrávidos now in Istanbul and Ankara with a special Othon selection!
Born in Mexico, Los Ingrávidos deconstructs and reconstructs the audiovisual language of commercial cinema to create a political, poetic, and corporeal form of filmmaking. Their works unfold as powerful visual poems ranging from scenes of protest to nature, from the rhythm of labor to mythological resonances.
Blending analog and digital techniques, Los Ingrávidos transforms the camera into an instrument of resistance. In each film, sound and image merge without overpowering one another, creating an experience that resonates like a ritual—or like the vibration of nature itself.
Their cinema is not merely watched —it is felt, moves, and transforms.
We invite you to step into the mesmerizing world of Los Ingrávidos!
