The multiple 16mm projector, expanded cinema piece, of variable length, incorporates layering of imagery, lens refraction, obstruction and live music.

The work invokes folklore told through obsolete technologies. In these mythologized landscapes, origins stories and apocalypse mix. Everything is in flux. Extraterrestrial and celestial bodies are birthed from open pit mines. Electric sheep traverse borderlands. Plant roots and amoebae migrate along mycelial lines and travel with factory pipes. Mountains inverted underground. Found and original films that are hand-processed, re-printed, solarized, and soaked in various vegital and mineral chemical concoctions.

Using multiple projectors, Bauer "jams" with noted experimental musician, Erica Dawn Lyle, who performs an improvised live soundtrack of guitar/percussion/vocals to accompany the blending and blurring hypnotic images.
