For Sarah Davachi, Canadian composer and performer in the minimalist/electroacoustic field, the organ is the instrument of choice to reach ascension; her compositions are long meditations built on layers of sound that expand the concept of space and perfectly accompany the grainy texture of Dicky Bahto's film footage—psychic explorations akin to the great experimental cinema of giants like Stan Brakhage and Chris Marker. Together, they present Double Reeds, a solo organ performance in dialogue with timeless analog images: a soulful place where it will be sweet to get lost.
