Signal Overload is an interdisciplinary celebration of experimental time-based media returning for its second year to the Starlite Drive-in Theater in Bloomington, Indiana on October 1st. The festival brings together experimental film, video synthesis, live music, poetry, and other forms of time-based art in an informal, accessible setting. The drive-in provides a unique environment for experiencing experimental media. Audiences can move through the space, watch live performances up close, or relax in their cars with popcorn while experiencing the projections on screen. Rather than prescribing a single way to experience the festival, Signal Overload invites audiences to choose how they participate.
