Fanvid and Ultra Dogme are excited to announce Small Joys: An Evening of Super 8 Films which will take place at the new Kirkos Ensemble space on Little Green Street, Dublin on the 14th of June.

This special free screening will feature films by extraordinary film artists James Devine, Blanca García and Maximilien Luc Proctor, projected in their original format by Dean Kavanagh with all the filmmakers and the full Ultra Dogme team in attendance. Fanvid is a community-run DIY Film Club based in Dublin. Founded in 2022, they host free screenings of artists' films, music videos, phone movies and everything in between. Fanvid have collaborated with organisations like AEMI, Starling Starling and Lux Critical Forum and run a mix of open-call screenings and curated events - with a DIY ethos and a taste for the weird and experimental.

Established in 2019, Ultra Dogme is a film journal and virtual cinematheque focused on bringing wider attention to under-seen gems of experimental, personal, and world cinema.
