It's in memory of Ross McLaren (1953-2023) who organized a few super 8 open screenings in 1975-77, the first of many regular open film screenings held in Toronto over 50 years, one of only a few cities in the world with such a history.

Bring your super 8 films, or come just to watch! Artists' films, found films, home movies, maximum 10 minutes per presenter(s). A rare, very bright Xenon-lamp super 8 projector will be used. Sorry, no video.
