The sudden death of filmmaker and writer Marjorie Keller in 1994 silenced the voice of a major contributor to the art of the moving image. But both on film and in words, Keller left behind a unique body of work that has been undeservedly overlooked in the decades since her death.
The Red Thread is the definitive work on Larry Gottheim, a key figure in the history of American experimental film.
Gottheim's reflections on the evolution of his work over the decades provide an extraordinary window onto the development of the art form in America in the late 20th century. His own account of his lifelong exploration of the boundaries of cinematic perception is here combined with the reflections of other major film artists and critics on the importance of his work.

The Bouquets of Rose Lowder are among the most alluring bodies of work in contemporary moving image art. Made at intervals over three decades, interspersed between her longer films, the Bouquets chronicle Lowder's life-long inquiry into the mysteries of visual perception.
This book invites a deeper look at Lowder's unique and beautiful world. It includes a selection of critical apppreciations, a catalogue raisonné of the Bouquet series, and a collection of Lowder's own reflections on her work.
Fred Camper has written about the films of Stan Brakhage for over five decades. Collected here for the first time in a single volume, his writing forms a body of criticism commensurate with the importance of Brakhage's films to late 20th century American art.
