La sección de cine experimental del NYFF, 'Views from the Avant-Garde' que se celebrará los próximos 2 a 4 de Octubre en el Walter Reade Theater alcanza su decimotercera edición con once programas de cine y vídeo experimental
Entre los muchos puntos a destacar del festival, un tributo a la figura de Chick Strand, una reconstrucción de la película-ensayo de metraje encontrado de Passolini La Rabbia y nuevos trabajos de Phil Solomon, Peggy Ahwesh, Lewis Klahr, Michael Robinson, Deborah Stratman, Lynne Sachs, David Gatten, Harun Farocki,Leslie Thornton, Ernie Gehr y muchos otros.
