AURORA cordially invites regional and national artists to submit proposals for the 2025 Video Art Night (VAN) program, taking place on the evening of April 11th, 2025 at Pegasus Plaza in Downtown Dallas, Texas. Find more info here: dallasaurora.com/Video-Art-Night-2025.

Individual artists and collectives, aged 18 and above, can submit their proposals by February 7th, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST through this form: https://bit.ly/VANopencall.

Proposals should explore innovative artistic approaches that examine the common ground that binds us⁠—whether through values, goals, or narratives⁠—while fostering a sense of unity. The submitted works should highlight diverse perspectives and their overlaps, moving beyond individual differences to open new pathways of connection. By examining what unites us, artists are encouraged to creatively push boundaries, expanding and redefining the notion of unity as we collectively navigate emerging realities.

Artists should propose video artworks to be projected onto walls that are in either vertical or horizontal format, contributing to an immersive group exhibition that will offer visitors a chance to experience art in an unconventional setting.
