The accordi @ DISACCORDI – International Short Film Festival, one of Italy’s leading festivals dedicated to short cinema since 2000, will return for its annual seven-day edition from November 9 to 15, 2026. Renowned for its rich program of screenings, exhibitions, workshops, and special events, the festival has officially opened submissions for its upcoming edition.
Filmmakers from around the world are invited to submit their works free of charge until September 18, 2026. The festival welcomes fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, and research short films, offering both established professionals and emerging talents the opportunity to compete on an international stage.
All submissions will be reviewed by the festival’s selection committee, with the films chosen for the Official Competition to be announced in October 2026.

The Festival will present awards in the following categories:
- Best International Short Film
- Best Italian Short Film
- Best Short Film directed or produced by a filmmaker from Campania, or filmed in the Campania Region
- Best Documentary
- Best Animated Short Film
- Best Environmental Short Film
- Best Director
- Best Actor
- Best Actress
- Audience Award
The jury may also grant Special Mentions and Joint Awards (Ex Aequo) where appropriate.
