CineSalon Experimental Film Festival has launched its open call for short experimental films for its third edition. The festival will take place in-person in Cork City & Cobh, Ireland September 12th – 13th 2026 and online September 12th – 26th 2026

Submissions are being accepted via FilmFreeway until July 26th 2026.

CineSalon welcomes films from experimental filmmakers and artists everywhere. A programme of selected shorts will be screened in-person with an additional series of shorts programmes streamed online.

CineSalon Experimental Film Festival celebrates personal, poetic and formally experimental filmmaking from across the world, providing a platform for film artists to share and discuss their work with adventurous audiences in a relaxed atmosphere. Curated by filmmakers, this defiantly independent festival exists to showcase the wild reeds of visionary film that ignore accepted cinematic paradigms and are all the more inspiring for it.
