23rd Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul (EXiS)

Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul (EXiS) is now calling for entries to the competitions of its 23rd edition. We value artists’ films made with an original vision that take challenges and aesthetic adventures.

Entry deadline is March 20, 2026. To submit your work, please check the regulations and use the entry form on the festival's website.

Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul, a.k.a. EXiS, was founded in 2004 by Moving Image Forum to present experimental films and contemporary moving images that explore new forms and territories of cinema. EXiS values artists’ films with original visions that embrace aesthetic challenge and adventure. The festival is recognized as one of the few platforms in Asia that continues to actively present works by artists working with celluloid film, alongside diverse contemporary moving-image practices.
