Experimental Series - Salt Lake City (EXPS/SLC) is an experimental video/film series hosted by the School of Dance + Film & Media Arts at the University of Utah.

We especially encourage women, queer, and disabled creators whose work is rooted in experimental approaches addressing movement, dance, choreography, and/or the body to apply. Please apply if your film incorporates movement or the body, but would not typically be considered "traditional dance" (ie: "Bridges Go Round" by Shirley Clarke).

Fall 2023 screenings will be held at the Union Theatre at the University of Utah. Submissions for the 2023-24 EXPS/SLC season will also be considered for programming at the International Screendance Festival held at the Salt Lake Film Society in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
