Our themed screenings continue @fabricagallery in 2025 with an invite for emerging, established and award winning filmmakers to share their films for our April programme HEAR HERE
In public or personal ways, by natural or manmade means, how do we listen - and what do we hear ? ‘Hear Here’ could be an instruction, a celebration of listening or a lamenting of sound and noise. We look forward to seeing your submissions and listening in on your world.

Short Circuit screen thought-provoking short films that have their roots in documentary. Now well established we continue to showcase emerging, established and award winning filmmakers. Our eclectic programmes embrace experimental, collage and animated films alongside more formal documentary approaches.

Festival/series profile

  • Short Circuit

    SHORT CIRCUIT is a new film night screening short experimental documentaries selected from an open call. Short Circuit shows films with an unconventional approach, works that are distinctly artist film, yet have their roots in fact or documentary.

    The screenings will be on the last Thursday of the month at Presuming Ed, Brighton.
