Submissions for the 9th Moinho Cine Fest are open, and we want your film, music video, or videodance work on our screen in April 2027 in Matosinhos, Portugal. If you are looking for a festival that rewards creators fairly, this is your moment.

Monetary Awards and Certificates

Our Jury will present a set of distinguished awards:

• Álvaro Martins – Best Film: 300 EUR + Trophy + Certificate
• Best National Film: 200 EUR + Trophy + Certificate
• Best International Film: 200 EUR + Trophy + Certificate
• Best Short Film: 100 EUR + Certificate
• Best Micro Film: 100 EUR + Certificate
• Best Nano Film: 100 EUR + Certificate
• M – Best Music Video or Videodance: 100 EUR + Certificate

Screening Fees Paid to Filmmakers

Every selected work in the competitive sections receives a screening fee of €0.05 per second (excluding credits). We believe creators deserve to be compensated, simple as that.

Fee Waivers Available

You can request a full submission fee waiver by send an email with your film title and the reason for your request. If the waiver is approved and your film is selected, the submission fee amount will be deducted from your screening fee.
