InShadow is an international festival dedicated to screendance and moving image, held annually in Lisbon from mid-November to mid-December. We celebrate bold, innovative and hybrid works at the intersection of dance, cinema and visual arts. The festival program includes International Competitions in Videodance, Documentary and Animation, as well as performances, exhibitions, installations, workshops and masterclasses.

We are looking for artists working across dance, film, animation and visual arts who are interested in exploring movement, body, space and time through the moving image. We welcome bold, experimental and interdisciplinary approaches, as well as diverse voices and perspectives from around the world.

Artists at any stage of their career are invited to submit works that challenge formats, blur boundaries and expand the possibilities of screendance and audiovisual creation.
