The Wide Open Experimental Film Festival call for submissions is open for the 2025 season! 

We’re looking for anything that fits the broad, diverse definitions of experimental or avant-garde cinema, from lyrical to collage to structural to expanded cinema. Your film might include visual experimentation, it might be process-oriented, it might provoke visceral reactions. If it’s thought-provoking, mind-boggling, and eye-opening, we’d love to see it.

In past years, we've showcased works by filmmakers like Tomonari Nishikawa, Kelly Gallagher, Lori Felker, Sasha Waters, Ben Russell, Peter Rose, Dominic Angerame, Bill Brown, Caryn Cline, Gregg Biermann, Crystal Z Campbell, and many many more.

Due to programming constraints, we will only accept films 25 minutes or under.

WOEFF will take place in person in Oklahoma City in Spring 2025. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to pay screening or travel fees to filmmakers.
