Submissions for the 21st WNDX Festival of Moving Image are now open!

The festival will be held in Winnipeg, Canada, Nov 12-15, 2026.

We have three open calls:

- An International Open Call, which considers short works (up to 15 mins) made in 2025 or 2026 by international directors from anywhere in the world

- A Canadian Open Call, which considers works of any length made in 2025 or 2026 by Canadian directors

- A special Canadian open call for short films (up to 15 mins) made by Canadian Queer directors for a program curated by Alex Nguyen

The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2026.

As always, submissions are free!
