Doclisboa proposes a rethinking of the documentary across its respective implications and potentials: cinema thereby representing a practice enabling us to discover new ways and means of conceiving and acting the world. The intimate interrelationship between the artistic and the political is correspondingly assumed as a mode of freedom. We wish to display films eventually able to help understand the world we live in and revealing some of the possible sources of change.
