HÄXÄN Festival will be exploring psychics, savants, mysticism, and occult practices as an avenue into interpreting reality. Our festival celebrates witchcraft and the Personal Occult in its infinite forms. We are seeking short videos that explore ritual, subversions of gender roles, and connections to the earth and nature. Possible themes include magic, sorcery, psychic phenomena, cults, covens, spells, animism, curses, the power of crystals, herbs, tarot, and astrology.

Deadline May 15 2015. Festival takes place in Oakland August 28-29.
