Join us at The Film-Makers' Cooperative (475 Park Avenue South, 6th Floor) on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17th, at 7pm, for a program of rarely-screened, hand-processed 16mm films by FMC filmmaker-member Leopoldo Bloom.
This Friday, November 21st, we will be screening films that encapsulate the spirit of antifascism. This is the second Antifa Film Screening at Millenium Film Workshop and this time we are focusing on the ideas of antifascist futures, critical fabulations, and antifascist dreams. This event, like the last one, is in response to the recent attacks on trans people, queer people, people of color, and working-class people all over the country.
The Sound Sound Experimental Film Fest is an accessible channel for experimental filmmaking from local artists in the Pacific Northwest. Our intention is to harbor a community for the exploration and development of the creative potentialities of the growing medium. We celebrate independent work which may otherwise get pushed to the fringe due to identity, insufficient resources, or qualifications of practice or technique.
