    Janie Geiser (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) es una artista y cineasta experimental americana. En 1986 Geiser se trasladó a Nueva York, donde fundó “Janie Geiser and Co.”, destinada a actores y titiriteros de Nueva York. En ese marco creó una serie de obras clave, entre las que se encuentra Stories from Here (1986), elaborada con el Teatro Jottay, en colaboración con el escritor Neill Bogan y el compositor Chip Epsten. La producción de esta obra que tuvo lugar en el Dance Theatre Workshop de Chelsea fue galardonada con un premio Obie.
