The selection of the moving image works of Melting Walls - Volume 2 was made to promote a suggestive dialogue with the sound installation of Yanran Bi, and the close environment in Montreux, Switzerland. 

Opening reception for a solo exhibition of new 16mm film-based works by artist Barron Sherer is Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 4-6 pm ET at Bridge Red Studios, an artists' complex in North Miami that exhibits artwork of strong and developed artists with ties to South Florida, who do not get the exposure their work merits. Sherer’s moving image work generally centers on the détournement and rerouting of archival media and assembling it with materials he creates with legacy filmmaking techniques.
