Braquage welcomes artist Sergej Vutuc for a weekend of screenings and an exhibition, to mark the release of his latest book.
Originally from the former Yugoslavia (he grew up in Zagreb), having traveled wherever skateboarding, punk, and alternative urban cultures could take him, Sergej Vutuc lived for many years in Germany and now resides in Paris.

Dream Sequence presents an evening of contemporary experimental short films from exciting filmmakers from around the world.

This carefully curated programme features works that challenge conventional cinematic and narrative forms, embracing visual art as a central mode of expression. As non-narrative films, these works explore the materiality of film itself, pushing the boundaries of the medium through innovative filmmaking techniques and unconventional aesthetics.

Curated by artist / filmmaker Kerry Baldry this programme of experimental works thoughtfully engages with the concept of time in cinema, challenging traditional narratives and exploring how much can be conveyed within sixty seconds. The programmes showcase an eclectic mix of work from artists at various stages of their careers, ranging from award-winning filmmakers to recent graduates.

Since August 2024, Close-Up has been presenting these 12 volumes in reverse order, offering a unique retrospective that invites viewers to explore the evolution of this extensive project.
