Join us for an afternoon of bold, imaginative and thought-provoking moving image work created by students on City Lit's Experimental Filmmaking course. The event will take place from 1pm on Saturday July 25th at the John Lyon's Theatre, City Lit, 1-10 Keeley Street, London. WC2B 4BA.

The showcase presents a curated selection of films developed throughout the course, culminating in each filmmaker's Final Major Project. Audiences will gain an insight into the students' creative processes, from early experiments in constraint-based filmmaking, found footage, sound-led practice and animation, through to their completed works.

Following a short interval, the final projects will be screened, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers, offering an opportunity to discuss the ideas, techniques and creative journeys behind the films.

Whether you're interested in artists' moving image, contemporary cinema or discovering emerging voices, this showcase celebrates experimentation, curiosity and the many possibilities of filmmaking beyond conventional narrative.
