The VII edition of Bad Video Art Festival will take place at L.A.M.A. (Laboratorio Artistico Multidisciplinare Autogestito), Cosenza, Italy, in December 2024.
We are looking forward to your moving images that are based on the concept of ‘plagiarism’ for screening at the International Short Film, Video and Photography Symposium to be held in Istanbul on October 25-26-27.
The deadline for applications is October 8, 2024. It will be curated by Tahir Ün and Devrim Taban.

Animate Projects is on the hunt for single screen, experimental animation, made by artists and animators based anywhere in the world. The work should broadly reflect or respond to the world today – community, activism, protest – urging us to become agents of a future, better world.
The Animate OPEN is a partnership between Animate Projects and QUAD, Derby. The exhibition will launch in February 2025, as part of QUAD’s current programme, New Worlds, New Discoveries. We also plan to screen the works with other partners, in cinema and gallery spaces.
