    This dynamic new festival celebrates the intersection between the moving body and the moving image, focusing on risk-taking and independent artists, with contemporary, experimental projects that push traditional mediums to their edge.

    San Diego Underground Film Festival (SDUFF) is San Diego's premier showcase of experimentation in video, film, and audio based mediums. A strong DIY ethos, combined with an art school brain and a punk rock heart makes the San Diego Underground Film Festival a unique place for films, videos, and audio pieces that strive to push the boundaries of accepted form and content. Films and videos that dissent radically in form or technique will be our priority in selections. Narrative films and documentaries that expand on narrative structure, or cover subjects related to subcultures or esoteric topics; animations both narrative and experimental; experimental films and video art; all will be considered for selection. Films and videos must show a strong sense of authorship.

    Berwick Visual Arts and Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival are pleased to announce that applications are now open for our annual artist's residency. The residency is for a six-month period beginning in April 2017 and is an opportunity for an artist with a moving image-based practice to create a new work to be premiered at Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival between 20th and 24th September 2017.

    The curatorial team of aCinema welcomes you to submit your work to aDifferent Festival! aDifferent Festival is a series of programs showcasing short works of media art over two days in late February.  All genres and media including video, installation, new media performance, and film are welcome.     Brand New Blinkers is a London based short film night. No categories, only quality moving image. We screen a diverse collection of films without boundaries. Come and see.
    We’re geared towards the odd, DIY, experimental, strange, but our rule is that there are no rules, so who knows? If you think your film doesn’t quite sit in a category or genre neatly, then perhaps it is perfect for Brand New Blinkers.

    MECONIO (Muestra de Nuevos Cineastas) launches its first open call to any kind of proposals that challenge the language and principles of conventional cinema, regardless of their format, genre or country of origin. We are looking for works that share a passion for the exploration of new ways of making cinema and a desire to question its own boundaries. Meconio is a non-competitive space for new films that aims to give visibility to the selected works through its exhibition. We accept works from authors under 35 from any country.
