From the 16th to the 25th of May 2025, the one and only Festival for experimental films and videos - VIDEOEX - is taking place again in Zürich. Get ready to experience the whole range of what experimental film art has to offer, from short to long, funny to sad, beautiful to disturbing, relatable to utterly confusing, it's all there at our festival. In additions to special programs on filmmakers of the like of Sky Hopinka, Maryam Tafakory, Margaret Tait and Laurence Favre, there will also be a country focus on Scotland and Mozambique.

In addition, like every year, we will present the very best of our national and international competition on our big screen: Come and see for yourselves which filmmakers receive the award for the best national and international submission in 2025!

At VIDEOEX 2025 a diverse program awaits you also off the screen. There will be Q&A's with the artists, special kid's programs, discussions, Live performances, music, workshops and much more...
