LaborBerlin is happy to invite you all to Diffraktion 14, the annual screening of films by members of the collective and friends at City Kino Wedding on the 15th of March starting from 5:00 PM featuring analog film screenings, installations and performances. As always, the selection spans a wide range of formal and thematic approaches, all exploring the unique and ever-expanding qualities of analog film.
For the third consecutive year the event will take place in collaboration with SPECTRAL, a project created by six European analog film labs that focuses on Expanded Cinema. Within this framework guest filmmakers Nan Wang and KinoMANUAL will present two different performative approaches to the analog projection that redefine conventional notions of cinema.
