Unexpected dialogues between moving images, sound and music build the format of Unexpected Matches, curated by Alina Marazzi, which sees the involvement of musicians and DJs invited to provide live sound, specifically for the Triennale, rare and little-known films and materials from archives and film libraries to reactivate them and offer new interpretations and interpretations. The first appointment Innesti offers a selection of short films by Federica Foglia, re-interpreted acoustically by Attila Faravelli, Enrico Malatesta and Nicola Ratti for a new and site-specific programme.

Dialoghi inaspettati tra immagini in movimento, suono e musica costruiscono il format di Unexpected Matches, a cura di Alina Marazzi, che vede il coinvolgimento di musicisti e dj invitati a sonorizzare dal vivo, appositamente per Triennale, film rari e poco noti e materiali provenienti da archivi e cineteche per riattivarli e offrirne nuove chiavi di lettura e interpretative. Il primo appuntamento Innesti propone una selezione di cortometraggi di Federica Foglia, re-interpretati acusticamente da Attila Faravelli, Enrico Malatesta e Nicola Ratti per un programma inedito e site-specific.
