In response to shrinking public arts support, film publication Analog Cookbook and experimental media resource hub This Week in Experimental have joined forces to launch their first-ever 16mm Film Fund, a community-powered grant designed to support filmmakers working with analog film.

The team has partnered with Atlanta-based film companies Kodak Film Lab Atlanta and Moonshine Post to be able to provide free 16mm film, processing, and color grading. They are currently crowdfunding to be able to sustain this grant for years to come.

See their crowdfunding campaign here: https://seedandspark.com/fund/analog-cookbook-film-fund#story

The campaign offers supporters issues of Analog Cookbook (including discounted rates on their newest issue), art prints, tote bags, and film workshops. Every contribution directly fuels the grant and helps preserve the art of filmmaking on celluloid.

If you contribute by Monday, September 15 you'll be automatically entered to win a free super 8mm camera + film.

Support independent filmmakers and artists by contributing to the campaign, sharing, and following.
