    We Invented Nothing is an open call created for a BAM film festival organised by Bierumer School art residency in Bierum, The Netherlands. 

    With this open call two artists - Julija Paškevičiūtė and Liza Kovalenko are offering you a little creative detour/dérive. They are applying to your own creations/your personal video/image/sound archive. Submissions should be not more than 5min long, send them via wetransfer/dropbox/vimeo/anything that allows them to download your material to mail@weinventednothing.com

Popwalk is a smartphone app for exhibiting "Site Specific Digital Art" it allows filmakers to exhibit films that are meant to be site-specific, in other words only seen in a specific location.     L'Œil d'Oodaaq is a French non-profit organization that researches on video art and other forms of images in contemporary art. L'Œil d'Oodaaq will be organizing in 2018 its 8th Festival Oodaaq. It will be held from 16 May to 27 May in Rennes and from 30 May to 10 June in Saint-Malo. Its highlights will be from 16 to 20 May in Rennes, and from 30 May to 3 June in Saint-Malo.

    It will be composed of: exhibitions, screenings, performances, lectures, moments of encounter.

    Videos not in excess of 15 minutes are requested for inclusion in Frame & Frequency IV, an international video art exchange, presented as a series of screenings and exhibitions held concurrently at VisArts in Rockville, MD, just outside Washington D.C. and in Medellín, Colombia at the PLECTO Galeria from Friday, January 19 through February 18, 2018.

    Video, film, and new media work will be accepted: experimental, documentary, animation, narrative, non-narrative, multimedia, virtual reality, augmented reality, net art, interactive media, sound art, etc.

    Call for Video, Animations, Moving Image

    The Cube Art Project is once again seeking video art, animations, motion graphics, video-mapping, and/or sound visualization projects for our second biannual international digital art competition. Works are screened on our large three dimensional monitor (the Cube) This screen is seen by hundreds of people on a slow day, but it’s also right next to the Pinnacle Bank Arena which hosts enormous events that draws tens of thousands of people several times a week.
