The Weight of Mountains Filmmakers Residency Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada

Walking the line between structure and freedom, this residency is a many headed beast: a biennially rotating film collective on assignment, a performance of place, a cultural mirror, a momentary Narnia, an interventionist, a portal, an international exchange and dialogue, and a discovery of the invisible. The Weight of Mountains residency tailors a space for filmmakers to immerse themselves into remote, overwhelmingly present, or challenging environments world wide to intervene, divert, connect, challenge and enhance their creative practice with fellow contemporaries; bringing together international artists and cross-pollinating film and media with global perspectives.

Call out for films and videos submissions for the upcoming 19th edition of Paris Festival for Different and Experimental Cinemas (October 2017). The festival is organised by Collectif Jeune Cinéma every year. CJC - Collectif Jeune Cinéma - was founded in 1971 following the New York Filmmakers's Cooperative footsteps. CJC is a cooperative for distribution with the aim to promote visual and cinematic experimental practices. Along with the organising of regular montly screenings, CJC is also the organiser of the Paris Festival for Different and Experimental Cinéma.

Desde el 2 de Marzo, al 1 de Junio, podrás postular tu obra de Danza en Pantalla o Documental, para la 5ª versión de FIVC. Posteriormente, podrás hacerlo a través del Cierre Extendido -Last Deadline.

FIVC es el Festival de Screendance de Chile! ...Así que comenzaremos a exhibir la selección oficial del Festival 2017 en Santiago, para luego recorrer 3 ciudades de nuestro largo país!

Requirements for entries

A work, or series of related works should be able to be screened in continuous playback, totaling between 15 and 50 minutes in duration (longer works may also be screened, but our series is designed to showcase as many contemporary artists as possible).

IVAHM es un festival de Nuevas Artes Mediáticas en Madrid. El Festival IVAHM se realiza cada año en Madrid con el objetivo de acercar las nuevas propuestas de los artistas nacionales e internacionales al público general. Desde su inicio cuenta con la figura del doble país invitado de donde se invitan a diferentes curadores de dicho país para la realización de una retrospectiva sobre el mismo.
