SHED Projects presents the second edition of Short Cuts, an international short film festival celebrating experimental, artist-made film and video works five minutes and under.

Open to filmmakers and visual artists working across genres, disciplines, and techniques, Short Cuts embraces experimentation, creative risk-taking, and unconventional approaches to the moving image. This year’s program features a diverse selection of regional, national, and international artists, highlighting the breadth of contemporary experimental film and video practices.

Listen with your eyes is an ongoing series of screenings for children of all ages and their grown-up companions. It’s a space where curious minds and open hearts can come together to drift through the worlds of experimental cinema. This screening is organised in collaboration with Light Cone, the Paris-based non-profit distributor of experimental cinema. All the films in the programme are drawn from its collection of more than 7,500 films.

@weareherefilms__ presents @eyes_without_gaze on 30th of September at 8pm for the first time in Berlin at B-ware! Ladenkino Berlin, by filmmaker @Leniko_Sennoma, followed by a Q&A with the director.

EYES WITHOUT GAZE is an experimental film that breaks with conventional storytelling. Through a fragmented, atmospheric narrative, it weaves together different perspectives into one dreamlike tale of trauma, power, and justice.
