  • Barbara Buckner’s Selected Works I (1979-1981)

    Barbara Buckner’s abstract, often silent video works, made throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s, explored the transformative properties of electronic image-processing technology. Three of these videos, Hearts (1979), Heads (1979), and Millennia (1981) are available to view through March 23rd.

  • Sunspot Cinema Collective: Doublethink Virtual Screening

    The Sunspot Cinema Collective, a club of film students and faculty in Orlando, Florida, is hosting a virtual film festival beginning this Sunday, March 7th centered on the theme doublethink. Seventeen films made by current and former UCF Film B.F.A. and B.A. students, along with domestic and international experimental filmmakers, will be made available on sunspotcinema.com. These films will only be available to view for one week from Sunday, March 7th-Sunday, March 14th.

  • Xcèntric Focus: Teo Hernández. Nuestra Señora de París by Vanessa Agudo

    With the aim of increasing the visibility of the works contained in the Xcèntric Archive, which until now could only be consulted at the CCCB, we've created a space where experimental films can be viewed online. Once a month and for a limited time, we'll share a film from our catalogue, accompanied by an in-depth presentation given by a specialist. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Catalan Association of Film Criticism and Writing (ACCEC).
