DIFFRAKTION 12, its annual showcase of new works on film by its members and friends: Jan Kulka, Luis Macías, Polyzysten, Martin Moolhuijsen, Jan Peters, Minze Tummescheit, Luciana Mazeto, Vinícius Lopes and Arne Hector, Laurence Favre and Xavier Bauer, OJOBOCA

For its 12th edition, DIFFRAKTION presents an evening of films, installations and performances by local and international artists exploring analog film's eye-opening and mind-altering qualities.

Experimental film programmer and researcher of the 1960s Swedish avant-garde scene; Martin Grennberger, will introduce the relationship between Swedish experimental film and 1960s avant-garde music, which is unknown in Japan. Experimental films by legendary composer Jan Bark will also be screened for the first time in Japan. Accompanied by Kanuma-avant-garde =Tsukasa Takahashi (drums, percussion) and ambient x improv master = mora-tau (synth) from Utsunomiya.
