Media City Film Festival and Trinosophes Projects are OVER THE MOON  to host celebrated filmmaker Kevin Jerome Everson in DETROIT and offer FREE public screenings of his films at Michigan Central and the Detroit Public Library’s gorgeous main branch (across from the DIA).

Short film screening / closing party!!

For the closing event of the exhibition Altogether Without, we will be screening a programme of 16mm short films that explore the tension between still and moving images.

On Friday, November 7th, at 6pm, legendary musician, filmmaker, and multimedia artist Tav Falco (whose moving image work recently joined the collection of The Film-Makers' Cooperative) visits the FMC Screening Room (475 Park Avenue South, 6th Floor) to present a troika of sui generis films, including his avant-garde feature THE URANIA TRILOGY.
