This summer, South London welcomes the ninth edition of London Experimental, an anti-festival that platforms the voices of emerging experimental artists.
On Sunday, June 15th, the anti-festival will take over the Birdhouse Brewery in Herne Hill with informal drop-in-style screenings showing 40 short films across three large screening rooms. The event opens at noon and runs until late, encouraging filmmakers, curators, and the general public to engage with a diverse range of experimental short films. The event is free of charge and open to all.
Accompanying this year's programme is a limited edition London Experimental Zine, which will launch at a separate event on Monday, June 2nd, in Shoreditch, at a special event, which will feature a special performance of a live composition to the festival trailer by musical artist Seaming To.
