Over the last 16 years artist filmmaker Kerry Baldry has been curating and organising screenings of artists moving image titled One Minute.  Each programme includes an eclectic mix of work made within the duration of one minute by artists at varying stages of their careers. The 12 programmes to date have featured works by award winning filmmakers through to recent graduates.

Since August 2024, Close-Up has been presenting these 12 volumes in reverse order, offering a unique retrospective that invites viewers to explore the evolution of this extensive project.

One Minute Volume 5 will be screening on Monday 6th April at 8.15pm and  includes work by: Marty St. James, Chris Paul Daniels, Gordon Dawson, Lumiere et Son (Sam Renseiw & Philip Sanderson), Guy Sherwin, Phillip Warnell, Kayla Parker & Stuart Moore, Jennifer Ross, Callum Cooper, Steven Ball, Esther Johnson, Paulo Menezes, Stuart Pound, Martin Pickles, Clint Enns, Katherine Meynell, Louisa Minkin, Kerry Baldry, David Kefford, Tina Keane, Annabel Dover, Ron Diorio, Michael Cousin, Riccardo Iacono, Michael Szpakowski, Kate Jessop, Johnathan Moss, Daniella Butsch, Eleni Xintaras, Alex Pearl, Zhel (Zeljko Vukicevic), Virginia Hilyard, Nicki Rolls, Nick Jordan and Jacob Cartwright, Barry Lewis, Leister/Harris.
