Just as a painter applies raw paint on a canvas, a filmmaker applies light(and other matters) on film strip. This hand-picked program features works produced at artist-run film labs (film laboratories by artists, for artists) scattered throughout the country, born from the vast and diverse geopolitical territories of Brazil. The relationship of physical sensations with plants and nature/ culture (humans), film-skin profaned as a tangible material, event that comes into being as ephemeral situation when it passes through a projector.

 The boo launching event, scheduled to happen from 3pm BRT on, proposes a sharing of the Bcubico experiment and the process of making the material — the QR code of the event’s poster links the e-book .

In activity in Recife between 2011 and 2015, the Bcubico if configured as important field of exhibition and sharing of art forms contemporary, also interested for the image in movement, in regards to the experimental cinema, videoarte and other expressions.
